From "the forties" to "the New Millenium," from "show tunes" to "slow tunes," MAUREEN LAWRENCE does them all. Her song stylings have been appreciated by audiences in New York, Canada, Japan and Israel; and locally at clubs such as The Gardenia and The Rose Tattoo.
MAUREEN has also worked on various television shows, including "Newhart" (with Bob Newhart) and "Julie" (with Julie Andrews). Her stage experience includes musicals "Kiss Me, Kate" (Kate), "Music Man" (Marian the Librarian) and "Fiddler On The Roof" (Hodel). MAUREEN is currently performing in the ongoing murder mystery dinner theatre show "Your Money or Your Life" in Irvine.
Aside from singing and acting, MAUREEN also has her own mobile disc jockey company, "MUSIC by MAUREEN," available to perform at weddings, parties, wakes or whatever! In addition, she can serve as Mistress of Ceremonies or dance instructor. Maureen has d.j.'d for major companies, including Macy's, Pacific Bell, Manhattan Beach Badminton Club, Micro Memory, Wilco Enterprises, Kaiser Permanente, and Kinko's. She has also hosted wrap parties for several television shows.
