SARA MAUREEN

Sara Maureen is a songwriter and lyricist from Wilton CA, who writes primarily in the contemporary, folk, and country genres. Sara is inspired by the rawness and vulnerability of the human experience and writes music that tells not only her story, but that of those around her. A former paramedic and United States Air Force Veteran, she understands the delicacy of life, the importance of love and connection, and the beauty of both joy and sorrow. Akin to her songwriting heroes: Judy Collins, Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, Kacey Musgraves, and Niall Horan, Sara loves telling her audience a story, with the melody often developing after the lyrics have taken root. Her decade-long practice as a pianist naturally lends a rich, melodic tone to her music, setting the stage for ballads, or just sing-your-heart-out songs!
